NATG - A Pony in Trainingby ~snip-veritas

Another submission for Equestria Daily's January 2012 edition of the Newbie Artist Training Grounds event. The prompt was to draw a pony in training.

I actually made this with just Rarity for the resubmission of the earlier prompt, but the administrator running the event changed the time without me realizing, so I missed the deadline. Luckily, I decided I could make it work for the next one and added Sweetie Belle and a really horrible, vomit-worthy background that I have no justification for except that, again, the deadline was minutes away and I couldn't summon a cruise ship from my stylus in 5 minutes. Sorry. Use your imagination!

Note: I intended to edit all of these entries significantly before posting, but you know what? No. They are what they are. Part of their charm is the fact that they were all rushed and incomplete ideas, so they will all remain in their original form--for better or worse.

Background is fine, could be better, of course, with more time and effort, but it is quite good with given conditions. And honestly, background isn't the most important part of this composition. Ponies are. I just adore how they look in this outfit (especially Rarity's one and her mane) and in your "style" :3
